කාල භෛරව වන්දනාව: සෞභාග්යය සහ ආරක්ෂාව සලසන මහා බලගතු වත්පිළිවෙත
කාල භෛරව වන්දනාව යනු ඉතා ප්රබල වන්දනා ක්රමයකි. මෙමගින් ස්වාමියාට සෞභාග්යය මෙන්ම ආරක්ෂාව ද නොඅඩුව සලසා දෙයි. භෛරව වන්දනය නිසි අවබෝධයකින් යුතුව සිදු කිරීම තුළින් ඔබේ සෑම ආරක්ෂාවක්ම සහ සැපයක්ම ළඟා කරගත හැකිය. පූජාවන් මෙන්ම විවිධ සාධනයන් (Sadhana) මගින් භෛරව දේවතාවුන් සතුටු කර අපගේ අපේක්ෂාවන් ඉටුකර ගත හැකි බව රහසක් නොවේ.
භෛරව දේවතාවා යනු ‘ක්ෂේත්ර පාලකයා’ ය. කාල භෛරව යනු ශිව දෙවිඳුන්ගේම එක් ස්වරූපයක් බැවින්, සියලු භූත, ප්රේත සහ පිසාච බලවේග භෛරවයන්ට යටත් වේ. අනෙකුත් භෛරව ස්වරූපයන් ශිව දෙවිඳුන්ගේ සේවකයන් ලෙස සලකනු ලබයි.
සෞභාග්යය, කීර්තිය සහ බලය ලබාදීමට භෛරවයන්ට ශක්තිය ඇති අතර, විවිධ ආකාරයේ භෛරව පූජාවන් පැවතුණ ද භෛරවයන් ප්රසන්න වන ලෙස නිසි වත්පිළිවෙත් දන්නේ අතලොස්සක් පමණි.
ඓතිහාසික පසුබිම
සූර්ය දිව්ය රාජයාගේ බිරිඳ වන සන්ධ්යා කුමරියගේ සොහොයුරු වෛද්ය හට, පියා වූ විශ්වකර්මයන් තම සිසු භාරද්වාජ සමග එක්ව මාලිගයක් නිර්මාණය කළේය. එහිදී ත්රිදේවයන් අතරින් බ්රහ්ම සහ විෂ්ණු දෙවිඳුන්ට පූජා පැවැත්වූව ද, ශිව දෙවිඳුන්ට ආරාධනා නොකිරීම නිසා උන්වහන්සේ කෝපයට පත් විය. ශිව දෙවිඳුන් තම කේශ කලාපයෙන් කොටසක් ගෙන පොළොවේ ගැසූ විට එයින් ‘බ්රාඩීන්’ (Bhradeen) අට දෙනෙකු බිහි විය.
මෙම අෂ්ට බ්රාඩීන් මාලිගාවේ උළුවස්සෙන් මතු වී වෛද්ය හට විෂ පිඹි අතර, මාලිගාවේ අසුභ නිමිති දැක තම පුත්රයා බේරා ගැනීමට විශ්වකර්මයන් භූ දෙවියන් ගෙන්වා ශිව දෙවිඳුන් හා අෂ්ට බ්රාඩීන් උදෙසා යාගයක් සිදු කළේය. එමගින් සිහි එළඹි වෛද්ය, ශිව දෙවිඳුන්ට ආරාධනා කර පූජා පීඨයක් නිර්මාණය කළ අතර එහිදී ‘කාල භෛරව’ ස්වරූපය ප්රකට විය.
භෛරව පූජාවේ රහස්ය වැදගත්කම
ඕනෑම කෝවිලක භෛරවයන් පිදීම සිදු කරන්නේ එම ස්ථානයේ ආරක්ෂාව සහ සෞභාග්යය පතාය. පුහුල් පහන් පූජාව භෛරවයන් අතිශය සතුටු වන පූජාවකි. එමෙන්ම උඳු කිරි බත් (මාෂ ක්ෂීර) මගින් හෝම පූජා පැවැත්වීමෙන් භෛරවයන්ගෙන් බොහෝ වරප්රසාද ලබාගත හැක.
දේව ශක්තීන් ස්ථාපිත කිරීමේදී භෛරව ශක්තීන් ද ස්ථාපිත කර ඔවුන් ශාන්ත කිරීම අත්යවශ්ය වේ. මන්දයත්, භූමියේ භෛරවයන් ප්රසන්න නොවන්නේ නම් දෙවිවරුන්ට පවා එම භූමියට වැඩම කිරීමට බාධා පැමිණවිය හැකි බැවිනි. කාලි මෑණියන් පවා ඔබේ පූජාවන් නිසි ලෙස භාර ගන්නේ භෛරව පිදීමෙන් අනතුරුවය. මන්ද ‘භෛරවී’ යනු ද මෑණියන්ගේම ස්වරූපයකි.
මගේ ගුරු නාරායන් ස්වාමි වරක් පැවසූ පරිදි:
“භෛරවයා ඔබේ මිතුරා නම්, ඔබ කාට බිය විය යුතුද? ඔබට කුමන අඩුවක් වන්නද?”
සාමාන්ය නිවසක නම් ස්වර්ණාකර්ෂණ භෛරව පූජාව තැබිය හැකි අතර, නිවසක් තුළ ‘කාල භෛරව’ පූජා පවත්වන්නේ නැත. නමුත් දේවාලයක් හෝ ව්යාපාරික ස්ථානයක් ආරක්ෂා කර ගැනීමට සහ දියුණු කර ගැනීමට කාල භෛරව පිදීම ඉතා රහසිගත වූත් බලගතු වූත් ක්රමයකි.

Kaala Bhairava Worship: The Powerful Ritual for Prosperity and Protection
Kaala Bhairava Worship is a highly potent spiritual practice. It bestows the practitioner with immense prosperity and unyielding protection. When performed with a deep understanding, this worship ensures every form of safety and comfort in one’s life. Through specific offerings and Sadhanas (spiritual disciplines), one can please Lord Bhairava to fulfill their deepest aspirations.
Lord Bhairava is the ‘Kshetra Palaka’ (The Guardian of the Territory). As Kaala Bhairava is a direct manifestation of Lord Shiva himself, all supernatural forces—including spirits and elemental beings—are subordinate to him. Other forms of Bhairava are regarded as the divine attendants of Lord Shiva.
While Bhairava possesses the power to grant wealth, fame, and authority, and although various forms of rituals exist, only a few possess the true knowledge of the precise offerings that most please the deity.
The Historical Background
According to sacred lore, Vishwakarma—the divine architect and father of Princess Sandhya (wife of the Sun God)—constructed a palace for his son, Vaidya, with the help of his disciple Bharadwaj. During the consecration, offerings were made to Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu, but Lord Shiva was not invited. Enraged by this omission, Lord Shiva struck a lock of his hair upon the ground, giving birth to the eight Bhradeens.
These Bhradeens emerged from the palace threshold and afflicted Vaidya with venom. Witnessing these ill omens and desperate to save his son, Vishwakarma summoned the Earth Deity and performed a grand sacrifice (Yaga) for Lord Shiva and the eight Bhradeens. Upon regaining consciousness, Vaidya invited Lord Shiva and established a sacrificial altar, where the form of Kaala Bhairava was manifested.
The Esoteric Significance of Bhairava Puja
In any temple, Bhairava is worshipped to ensure the protection and prosperity of the sacred grounds. The offering of ash gourd lamps (Puhul Pahan) is a ritual that greatly pleases Lord Bhairava. Furthermore, conducting Homa (fire rituals) with Udu Kiribath (Masha Kshira) can unlock numerous divine blessings.
When establishing divine energies in a particular location, it is essential to establish and pacify the Bhairava energies as well. If the Bhairava of the land is not appeased, it can create obstacles even for other deities to manifest their presence. It is said that even Goddess Kali only fully accepts offerings after Bhairava has been honored, as ‘Bhairavi’ is an aspect of the Mother Goddess herself.
As my mentor, Narayan Swami, once advised:
“If Bhairava is your friend, whom shall you fear? What shall you ever lack?”
While Swarnakarshana Bhairava (the attractor of gold/wealth) can be worshipped within a standard household, Kaala Bhairava rituals are generally not performed inside a home. However, for those managing a temple or a business, worshipping Kaala Bhairava is a secret and powerful method to safeguard and develop the establishment.
